BOARD OF ELDERS
The Elders are given the vested authority by the congregation and church by-laws to oversee all the affairs of the church. Click here to view bios and photos of the Board of Elders.
As the spiritual leaders of the church, we are responsible for the spiritual welfare and congregational care of our members; we guard the purity of the doctrine and life of the church. We care deeply for our congregation and are here to serve and pray for our members as they have a need.
As stewards of the church, we are responsible for the custody and maintenance of the property of the church and its financial operations. These responsibilities are carried out through the Finance and Property Committee; a committee of the Board of Elders. This committee provides the necessary financial and administrative guidance and supervision to the church staff, officers and members to assure that expenditures remain within the available funds and congregational approved total budget of that year. Committee members include the Chairman, Church Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Executive Director, and other members. We are grateful for each member and the important contributions they make.
We have many other responsibilities outlined in the church bylaws. These are accomplished through strong teamwork with our Executive Pastor, Executive Director, staff and other leaders. You may learn more about these responsibilities and the scriptural qualifications of becoming an Elder by reviewing our church by-laws.
