Our new name is Kids of the Rock, where we believe that our foundation is on the Rock of Christ.
Our mission statement speaks of why we are here and what we do.

To partner with parents to reach the next generation for Christ and to mentor kids to walk as disciples of Christ.
Our core values show what is important to us and what we believe.
1.Everything we do is safe
a.Physically safe
From our Check-in, staffing, child protective measures Black Rock is a safe place for your kids!
b.Emotionally safe
We firmly believe a child is a gift from God and we want to create a place where kids will have an emotionally safe place to tackle tough spiritual issues.
2.Fun - Everything we do is attractional to kids. From Go-cart races to dancing music, we are a fun place to be!
3.Relevant Bible Teaching & Applicable
a.Everything we do will be founded on scripture
b.Everything we do is also applicable. Our curriculum will be chosen to demonstrate a balance between scripture knowledge and relevant daily life.
4.Relational-We will place a strong emphasis on all connection points. This applies to parents, kids, and teachers.
a.We will train our teachers and build time in the Sunday morning schedule for relationships.
b.We are a regional church and will train our teachers to create an environment that accepts and treats all children with the same regard no matter where they are from.
5.Creatively interactive
a.We will make the teaching compelling.
b.Thinking outside of the box
c.The outcome should be that the kids “get it” rather than endure it.
d.Allow them to be active participants, not passive witnesses.
